PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

As the former Executive Director of the Eastern Building Material Dealers Association and former Executive Vice President of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, Pam has extensive experience in association management. Pam’s work experience has produced a clear understanding of pursuing goals and objectives within a framework of an established strategic plan, bylaws, budget and volunteer committees while simultaneously directing staff in a unified front that is viable and successful.

Pam has been successful by combining her ability to build consensus among a diverse group, motivating volunteers and staff, and communicating successful outcomes. Her ability to make knowledge based decisions within a team environment resulted in programs and services required by the associations she has served.

Pam’s accomplishments include the deployment of adult educational programs, implementation of strategic plans, awards from the Department of Energy’s “Energy Star Award in Business Education,” speaker at ASAE programs, management of Wharton’s Zell/Lurie Center of Real Estate study analyzing the effects of technology and the commercial real estate broker, participant in the BOMA/SIOR Standard Method of Measurement of Industrial Floor Space (and ANSI standard), fund raising activities in excess of $175,000, co-founder of Realcomm (a technology conference for the commercial real estate industry), planner for several conventions and seminars, generated non-dues revenue in excess of $2.5 million, and editor of SIOR’s Tenant Representation Manual.

Pam is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College. She resides in Gettysburg, PA with her husband Chris.
